ATOMS stands for “Amazing Time Observing Magical Science”. It is a pre-assembly programme conducted by a teacher to excite students about Science through dramatic demonstrations with a magical twist. Miniature Science experiments are shown using simple materials that can be found readily. Students are given opportunities to participate in a contest that enables them to find out and explain the working scientific principles of the experiments. The ultimate learning outcome of this programme is for students to enjoy Science and to value it as a way to help them explore the natural and physical world.
