MOE FAS

MINISTRY OF EDUCATION FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME (MOE FAS)
The MOE FAS is to help financially needy Singaporean students in Government and Government-aided schools to meet basic schooling expenses. Singapore Citizen students from households with gross monthly household income (GHI) of $2,750 and below, or per capita income1 (PCI) of $690 and below will be eligible for the MOE FAS.
MOE FAS recipients are eligible for free textbooks, school attire and transport subsidy2. All Singaporean students can opt to pay their 2nd Tier miscellaneous fees from their Edusave account. If you are eligible and wish to apply for the MOE FAS, please click here to download the FAS application form or you can also obtain a copy of the application form from the General Office and return the completed form to the school for processing. Please note that application for MOE FAS has to be done yearly and only one application form is required for each family regardless of the number of siblings enrolled at WPS or other secondary schools or Junior Colleges. Do note that any incomplete supporting documents may result in delay in processing your application.

1 PCI = PCI is computed by dividing the total gross household income by the number of members in the same household
2 60% of school bus fares for primary school students taking school bus or $15 transport credit per month for primary, secondary, and pre-university students in Government and Government-aided schools from the month after your application, is approved for students taking public transport to school
