MYTHOS (JUNIOR ORATORS) – STORYTELLING COMPETITION
Prior to Circuit Breaker (CB), three of our Westspringers participated in a storytelling competition organised by Anglo-Chinese Junior College (ACJC) Debate and Oratorical Society. They are Leroy Tan Pin Hao, Lucas Tan Xin Ze and Rayden Tee Zu Guan from Primary 2F.
In this storytelling competition, students were required to submit a video of their story-telling performance. The three students progressed to the second preliminary round where there were 84 participants in all.
Due to the enhanced public safety measure in the light of the COVID-19 virus, the competition ceased at the second preliminary round. Thus, there were no semifinals and finals. Results were based on the combined score of the two preliminary rounds. The standard of the performance was extremely high and the judges were thoroughly impressed as they viewed the videos. Our students received a certificate of participation each while Rayden Tee Zu Guan clinched the ‘Best Costume’ award. We would like to congratulate all of them for their first attempt at storytelling.
